With episode Revenant coming to a close in less than two weeks, Destiny 2 has a new event where you can purchase some pretty sweet gear for relatively cheap.

Much like last year’s Riven’s Wishes event, all you need to do is do some quests and earn exclusive Bento Tokens. You’ll need to pick up quests from Drifter, which will reward you not only the tokens, but you can earn the beloved Chatterwhite shader.

With those tokens in hand, you’ll be able to purchase a wide variety of items from Eris on the Moon. However, not every item in her supply is worth your tokens, so here’s a ranking of each item so that you don’t spend them on something that you’ll regret.

11 Artifice Armor

Terrible Rolls

When it comes to build crafting, higher-level players often look for armor rolls with “spiky” stats, and high resilience regardless of class. It’s also a pretty safe rule of thumb that armor pieces with overall stats below 65 are practically worthless for high-level build crafting.

Eris sells Artifice armor pieces for 2 Bento Tokens per armor piece: Biosphere Explorer (Titan), Hinterland (Hunter), and Ossuary (Warlock). Unfortunately, you’re better off farming Artifice armor from Dungeons, as these are not worth your Bento Tokens.

These rolls are awful–none of the armor pieces for any class has good rolls. Spend your Bento Tokens on anything else.

10 Riptide

Don’t Make Shaxx Jealous

We’re not exactly sure why Eris is selling Riptide, but it has a decent roll, with Compulsive Reloader and Chill Clip as its perks.

However, you’re better off spending your Bento Tokens on the other items. Keep in mind that you can already focus Riptide with Shaxx at the cost of two Crucible engrams. There are also other Stasis fusion rifles (e.g. Deliverance from Vow of the Disciple raid) that can roll with Chill Clip.

To make Riptide even more redundant, Tinasha’s Mastery is a Stasis rocket sidearm that can roll with Chill Clip. Even better, you can acquire a god roll (Air Trigger and Chill Clip) by simply getting to rank 4 in Iron Banner.

9 Spoils Of Conquest

No Need For Farming

Spoils of Conquest is a type of currency that you can earn through completing raid encounters and opening raid chests. With that being said, the only reason you would spend your hard-earned Bento Token on Spoils is if you’re a few short, or if you don’t have the time to raid. What’s more fun than completing a raid with a full Fireteam?

Besides, there’s a solo way to acquire Spoils of Conquest.Checkpoint bots hold down raid and dungeon checkpoints so that players can easily grab one without having to go through any previous encounters.

There is also a limit to how many times you can buy spoils. You may only purchase Spoils three times, netting you a total of 75 if you buy all of it.

8 Ascendant Alloy

Essential Crafting Material

Ascendant Alloys are rare materials that you can use to upgrade weapon perks, allowing you to Masterwork your crafted or enhanced weapons.

You can purchase them from Master Rahool if you’re Glimmer and material-rich (10 Enhancement Prisms and 50,000 Glimmer). A more reliable way to earn Ascendant Alloys is through the Master version of The Wellspring activity.

Alternatively, if you consistently play endgame content, then you can earn Ascendant Alloys from endgame and high-tier seasonal content as a rare drop.

7 Ascendant Shard

Hole In One

Much like Ascendant Alloys, Ascendant Shards are high-tier materials that are crucial in upgrading your equipment. In this case, Ascendant Shards are used in upgrading armor.

Affectionately called “golf balls” by the community, Ascendant Shards can be purchased from Rahool for the same price as the Ascendant Alloy.

You can also farm Ascendant Shards from Grandmaster Nightfalls, and endgame Pale Heart activities like Campaign coop missions or the Excision mission.

6 Exotic Ciphers

Siphon A Cipher

Exotic Ciphers are perhaps the rarest material, as they can only be earned a limited number of times. They can be used to purchase new exotic items or give your exotic armor extra stats akin to Artifice armor.

You can earn Exotic Ciphers by progressing through the Season Pass, resetting your rank with Xur, purchasing a weekly Xur quest, or a rank reset with Master Rahool.

If you’re in desperate need of an Exotic Cipher, then it might be worth the Bento Token.

5 Mementos

Exclusively Cosmetic

Mementos are rare items that you can slap on your weapons, giving them a unique shader, a title, and a tracker for the activity they represent. Whether it’s Nightfalls, Trials, or Festivals, these are valuable items that can further your prestige as a Guardian.

You can only buy a curated selection from Eris:

• Gambit
• Nightfall
• Iron Banner
• Festival of the Lost
• Dawning
• Guardian Games
• Solstice

You should only buy these mementos if you’ve missed them for their respective events. Since Festival of the Lost, Dawning, Guardian Games, and Solstice only happen once a year and their shaders look great, these are the top choices if you’re to spend your hard-earned tokens on them.

4 Igneous Hammer (Adept)

Shoot Your Shot

Igneous Hammer is a solar 120rpm hand cannon that can only be earned through Trials of Osiris, which can understandably be missed by many players. This is a must-buy if you’re looking for a strong PvP Hand Cannon.

It has a set roll with respectable perks: Fragile Focus and Precision Instrument. Combined with a Range Masterwork, this weapon can be used to open up engagements in the Crucible, allowing you to get the drop on your opponents.

This is a respectable purchase if you really can’t be bothered with Trials.

3 Horror’s Least (Adept)

Burst Into Action

Horror’s Least is a 540rpm Arc pulse rifle that can only be earned by completing Grandmaster Nightfalls. Since GM weapon drops rotate every week, you should definitely consider purchasing this weapon.

With the perks Perpetual Motion and Kill Clip, this Adept Horror’s Least can be a solid pick for PvP, as it also gives you a Stability Masterwork.

When fully upgraded, this can put in some serious work in consistent damage.

2 Cloudstrike

Big Day For Empire Hunt Haters

This is a big day for anybody who hates doing Empire Hunts just to get this gun. I should know it–I’ve farmed Empire Hunts dozens of times just to earn Cloudstrike.

You should absolutely get this gun, especially if you don’t want to farm Empire Hunts (seriously, they are torture) to get it to randomly drop.

It’s an amazing sniper rifle for PvP as it can easily take out an entire enemy team with a single headshot, provided they bunch up together. Alternatively, it’s also a decent DPS weapon for boss damage during raids.

1 Cataphract GL3 (Adept)

Don’t Miss Out On This GL

For a single Bento Token, you can buy one of the best DPS grenade launchers in the game. The Adept Cataphract GL3 is a Strand adaptive frame heavy grenade launcher, and can only be earned through Trials of Osiris.

Its perks are Envious Assassin and Bait and Switch, which are perfect for burst DPS during boss fights. Its origin trait, Alacrity, gives you better reload, stability, handling, and aim assist if you’re running solo.

This is an absolute must-have if you’re looking for some good damage. It should also be mentioned that Banshee-44 is also selling the VS Chill Inhibitor, an equally strong contender with similar perks. They are both worth getting, as both can be used for different damage purposes.
