Set to launch this April, fighting game fans will be able to try Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves before its release next month, as the game’s open beta has been announced.

The beta will be available on almost all platforms starting on February 20, with more details below.

According to SNK, the beta test aims to improve the online experience, and will feature eight fighters from the roster. Players can also expect two control schemes, with one aimed for newcomers, and the other for veterans.

Beta Schedule:

Period: February 20, 2025 (12 AM PST) – February 24, 2025 (11:59 PM PST)

Platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam)

Playable Modes: Online Ranked Match, Casual Match, Room Match

PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions are not required for those wondering. SNK has said that the included characters in the beta will be revealed at a later time.

City of the Wolves is the first entry in the series after 26 years, with the last mainline entry being Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which was released in 1999 on the Neo Geo, Dreamcast, PS2.
