How To Gain Experience In Palworld

Almost everything you do in Palworld is going to net you at least a little bit of experience. Whether it’s creating new designs, crafting materials, doing some good old farming, or fighting bosses, you’ll see the level up come closer every time. At the start, you’ll gain levels fairly quickly, but this will change when you reach the double digits. This is when you should think about optimizing your leveling strategy and become the greatest Pal catcher there ever was.

No, really! You’ll want to catch every Pal you find along your way. Compared to the XP you gain from the first 10 Pals of each type, every other method of gaining experience pales. Every time you catch a new pal at the start, you will get a massive experience boost. This boost will last until you exhaust the 10 Pal limit, at which point you will be chasing after a shadow of what once was an ocean.

How To Level Up Fast

If you want to level up as fast as you humanely can, you’ll want to follow a simple three-step strategy:

• Travel to a new area.
• Catch every type of Pal available there exactly 10 times to maximize the amount of experience you can gain there.
• Move on to a new area and repeat until you’re satisfied with your progress.

Custom Settings

Since Palworld allows the players to customize their games as they want, you can also do a little bit of mode manipulation and increase the rate at which you gain experience through the Custom game mode.

• Create a new world in the start menu.
• Click Custom Settings to open the customization menu.
• Change the third slider, called EXP gain, and take it as far up as you want. It starts at 1 and can go all the way up to 20.
