How To Use The Different Railgun Modes
One reason some players haven’t been able to use the Railgun is that it has two different modes that can be tricky to understand. If you don’t understand exactly what each mode means, you won’t be able to use the Railgun. However, if you figure it out, you will have one of the best Supply Stratagems.
- Safety Mode On: This is the default setting for the gun. It is where every bullet you shoot will do the same amount of damage, just like other guns.
- Safety Mode Off: This is the difficult setting. In this setting, the gun will do more damage the longer you charge it, but if you do this too long, you can blow up the gun.
No matter which mode you pick, you will need to hold the fire button down to charge the gun. Once it is charged, you can release it when you’re ready. However, with the safe mode off, you do run the risk of killing yourself.
Which Railgun Mode Should You Use?
The truth is, if you want to use this gun effectively, you should do it with the safety mode off. The reason for this is that you can do so much more damage if you’re able to charge the weapon up longer before shooting. However, it depends on your skill level as to whether or not you should actually play with safety mode off. If you are comfortable with your weapons and your timing, you will want to go ahead and do this. If you aren’t comfortable with your weapons and timing, you may want to practice a bit before committing to using this without safety mode.
You want to make sure that you’re good with weapons and accurate to take full advantage of the gun.
Tips For Using The Railgun
- Make every shot count and go for the head. Don’t shoot the Railgun at just anything, make sure your shot is worth it.
- Use the Railgun against tough opponents. This will let you eliminate them quickly.
- Be sure you are comfortable with it before using it with safety mode off.
