Heart Machine has finally revealed a release date for Hyper Light Breaker, a new co-op rogue-like set in the Hyper Light Drifter universe, and it’s January 14, 2025, via Steam Early Access.

The announcement was made via a new trailer where we get to see more gameplay, and even an overview narration by Lead Producer Michael Clark on what players can expect from the title.

While Heart Machine’s past games like Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash were released on consoles aside from PCs, Hyper Light Breaker is only confirmed for PC for now. That said, I fully expect it to be announced for consoles, most likely once it’s out of its early access state.
