Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is receiving PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ports, with fans getting the chance to vote on new characters.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 originally launched in 2020 on the previous generation of consoles. This was when the Wano arc of the One Piece anime/manga was still ongoing, which meant that the game’s storyline had a rather abrupt conclusion.

Since launch, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 received a ton of DLC support, adding characters introduced later in the series, giving players a chance for Wano to play out as it does in the manga, especially with the arrival of Gear 5 Luffy.
While a fifth entry in the series is long overdue, Bandai Namco has confirmed via a new trailer on the company’s YouTube channel that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is receiving dedicated ports on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with all of the existing DLC, as well as something new.

Those who visit this link on the Bandai Namco website can vote for characters who will appear in the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of One Piece Pirate Warriors 4.
It’s unclear how many fighters will be chosen, but considering the game already received eighteen different DLC characters, there’s plenty of scope for expanding the roster.
