Approaching him will start a cutscene with Crusher insulting you and your kind and demanding that you kiss his feet to prove his superiority over you.

Now, players might be wondering if it’s worth it to agree to Crusher’s demands and kiss his feet when he orders it. Maybe it will lead to some worthwhile outcome that will outweigh the shame of having to kiss the goblin’s feet. Here’s what you need to know about this encounter.

Beyond the eternal shame of kissing a random goblin’s foot while surrounded by witnesses and companions, there are no long-term downsides to kissing Crusher’s foot. Embarrassingly, there are no upsides either.

The only reason you may want to kiss his foot is to steal Crusher’s Ring (Movement Speed increased by 3m / 10ft) during the act by passing a DC 10 Sleight of Hand check. This will give you inspiration if you have the Charlatan background as well as Shadowheart’s approval.

If you want Crusher’s Ring but don’t want to kiss his foot, it can be looted off his dead body after you kill him. Conveniently, if you don’t agree to kiss his feet, Crusher will walk away from the center of the Courtyard, giving you a chance to ambush him alone and kill him without alerting everyone in the Goblin Camp.

How To Make Crusher Kiss Your Feet

If you’re looking for some retribution on Crusher, there is a way you can humiliate him in turn. Force him to kiss your feet by selecting the dialogue option:

  • “How about you kiss my foot instead?”. (DC 15 Intimidation)
    • “You better kiss my foot. Now.” (DC 15 Intimidation)
    • “You will obey me. Kneel.“ (DC 2 Wisdom).

Passing in these checks will force Crusher to kneel down and kiss your foot to apologize for his earlier action. This method will also result in getting approval from every companion in your party. No one likes a pushover, it seems.
