South Of Midnight Combat Weaving and Unraveling

From fighting the stigma-infested glades filled with Haints, to high-tailing it and going head-to-head with Two-Toed Tom, the following trophies can be earned from fighting your way through the game and upgrading Hazel’s skills.

There are specific conditions you’ll need to follow and execute to grab all the trophies below, so make sure you’re completing all requirements exactly.

Unraveller	Unravel a Haint	Defeat then Unravel a Haint by interacting with its corpse.
Taking the High Road	Interrupt Haint attacks with the Aerial Rend	Interrupt 10 Haint attacks with the Aerial Rend skill.
Cicada Tempest	Unravel Haints after defeating them by throwing Larva Haints into them	Grab Larva Haints with the Strand Pull skill from a Hive, and then throw them with the Strand Push skill at a Haint. You must Unravel the Haint after defeating it.
Going the Distance	Unravel Haints after defeating them with the Amplified Rend skill	Defeat 20 Haints with the Amplified Rend skill. Unravel the haints after defeating them.
Took ’em Down a Peg	Defeat multiple Haints with the Cleansing Rend skill	Defeat multiple enemies with one use of the Cleansing Rend skill. A total of 10 combined defeats is necessary. For example, using the skill to defeat 5 sets of 2 enemies.
Clean Hands	Unravel Haints after defeating them without using attacks	Defeat 20 Haints by reflecting Hurler projectiles with the Strand Push skill.
In the Nick of Time	Use Perfect Dodges while having low health	Perform 5 Perfect Dodges while Hazel’s health is critically low.
Learning the Ropes	Unlock a skill	Purchase your first skill by spending your Floofs on the Rending Step skill, which is the first in the upgrade skill tree for Hazel’s abilities.
Mastering the Ropes	Fully upgrade General	Purchase all 8 skills in the General skill tree.

For the Took ’em Down a Peg achievement, I recommend going for this on weaker enemies in the middle of the story near an automatic checkpoint, as the skill can be dangerous to use when surrounded by a bunch of harder enemies found later in the game at once.

Collectibles Achievements

South Of Midnight Combat Collectibles Trophies and Achievements

Keep on the lookout for the collectibles tracker in your menu, as the following trophies can be earned from collecting all of them.

These will be the trophies that take the most time and effort to earn, so make sure you’re collecting everything you can as you work through the game.

Don’t forget you can replay every chapter in the game by choosing Load Game in the Main Menu and selecting Chapter Replay under your saved file! This makes going back and getting some trophies easier than others, but you’ll still be forced to play through large portions of the game if you’re going back for collectibles.

A Little Goes a Long Way	Collect a Health Filament	The first Health Filament can be found on the main path in Chapter 3, but any health filament will fulfill this requirement.
Fit as a Fiddle	Fully upgrade Hazel’s health	Collect all 9 of the Health Filaments throughout the game to max out Hazel’s health.
Floof Seeker	Find all Floofs	Collect all Floofs throughout the game, which can be tracked in the menu which displays your current Floofs and the total available in each chapter.
Lore Master	Find all Readables	Collect all Readables throughout the game, which can be tracked in the menu which displays your current acquired Readables and the total available in each chapter.
Finder’s Keepers	Perform a tin flip	Use the Strand Push skill to flip a rectangular sheet of metal which can be found on the ground throughout the game.
