TVS Motor Company on Friday launched the latest version of its popular motorcycle, the Apache RTR 160, with a starting price of Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model comes with several upgrades, including dual-channel ABS, which makes braking safer and more stable, especially during emergencies or wet road conditions.

The bike is powered by a 160cc engine that produces 16.04 PS of power and 13.85 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful 160cc bike in India. Riders can switch between three ride modes, Sport, Urban, and Rain, for better control depending on road and weather conditions.

In terms of looks, the Apache RTR 160 gets red alloy wheels, new colours like Matte Black and Pearl White, and a bold, sporty design. It also includes smart features like Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, and a digital display with ride information — all part of TVS’s SmartXonnect system.

“This new version builds on the Apache’s strong racing DNA while offering more safety and technology,” said Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor.
