While Hogwarts Legacy was released on the original Nintendo Switch, Warner Bros. looks to zap gamers again, as the action game set in the Harry Potter universe is getting a re-release on the Switch 2.

Hogwarts Legacy on Switch 2 Not Only Looks Better But Also Has Exclusive New Features Compared To Switch Version

In the press release sent by Warner Bros, the publisher announced that Hogwarts Legacy for Switch 2 pre-orders are kicking off today.

Interested witches and wizards can choose between two variants: the Digital Standard Edition for $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. Those who own the digital or physical version of the game on Switch can get the digital edition for Switch 2 at a discounted rate.

To access the discount, players must be logged into the same Nintendo account that owns Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch.

Some of the improvements from the original Switch version to the re-release include enhanced visuals, seamless open-world traversal, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, and other technical enhancements.

The best-selling action-adventure game has no sequel announced yet, but it’s just a matter of time before we hear of one, as Warner Bros. has already mentioned they want to focus on Hogwarts Legacy, Mortal Kombat, and DC games as part of its gaming division’s future.
